The Dutch Lion Awards are presented in five different categories.
- Dutch designer of the year
-Dutch Emerging Talent Award
- Dutch Model of the Year Award
- Dutch Accessories Designer of the Year
-Dutch Influencer Award

The presentation takes place during the Dutch Lion Awards Gala, in Amsterdam.

The Dutch Lion Award was designed by the Amsterdam artist Chris Tap. The statue was cast in bronze by bronze caster Richard Iseger.

 Dutch Accessories Designer of the Year:
This award is presented to a Dutch designer/creative director who has proven in the past year to bring accessories  to the forefront of the fashion industry and has demonstrated a knack for both creativity and commerce and establishing his or her brand. And whose collection has received international attention.

Amber Ambrose Aurele is nominated for the Dutch Accessories Designer of the Year award, and last Saturday during the blacktie gala in the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam she won this award
