Babylon, 2019

Babylon is a mini collection by fashion designer JUDITHvanvliet & Amber Ambrose Aurèle. This collection is created with an eye on sustainability to try to create a better world. The system we have now, the consumer society, is not working and won’t last! We need to buy less, choose well, recycle our garments, plastics and other materials. This collection shows the turnaround, we believe in a better future! The collection is based on the song Babylon from Thomas Azier.

The collection is made of sustainable fabrics: used plastic bottles, recycled pet, recycled cotton, residual materials from previous projects and left over fabrics, kombucha & plastic bottles that normally ends up in the garbage bin but in this collection we try to change this trash in a fashion treasure.
